The Zipster Design Challenge

This February, we launched an exciting design challenge, inviting our audience to dream up a brand-new Zipster print. The response was overwhelming, with over 200 fantastic entries pouring in from all corners of our Zipster family!

The Challenge

The competition kicked off with an exciting task: design or describe a new Zipster print. We were blown away by the creativity and passion that each entry showcased. From intricate hand-drawn illustrations to sleek digital art, the variety and imagination on display were truly inspiring.

Narrowing Down to the Finalists

Choosing just 10 finalists from such an incredible pool of talent was not easy. Each finalist brought a unique vision to the table, reflecting a wide range of styles and ideas. We worked closely with each of them to transform their designs into patterns suitable for our Zipsters. This collaboration resulted in ten stunning and diverse prints that beautifully represented the creativity of our community.

From Design to Fabric

Once the designs were finalized, they were printed onto our bamboo fabric and crafted into adorable Zipsters. We organized a photoshoot to showcase each design in all its glory. The photoshoot was an absolute delight, capturing the charm and individuality of each print.

Meet the Designers

As part of the final stage of the competition, each finalist created a short video introducing themselves and sharing the story behind their design. These videos gave us a glimpse into the creative minds behind the prints and added a personal touch to the competition. It was heartwarming to see the faces and hear the voices of the talented individuals who made this challenge so special.

The Final Vote

The power to choose the winning design was placed in the hands of our wonderful customers. The response was incredible, with an enthusiastic outpouring of votes. After a thrilling voting period, we are excited to announce that the winning design is 'Comic Cuddles' by Kristen Nicola! This charming and whimsical print captured the hearts of our community and is now in production.
